I'm pretty confidant with computers but am totally self taught. about 18months ago the HT asked me to take over as IT tech and I know look after all the hardware and software in school, upgrading and maintaining the network and all the interactive whiteboards and other ICT equipment.

there is training to be had but I learn better by playing with it so havent had any training so far. we have a CC3 network and to install software you have to build it into an application package. the county runs courses to teach you how to do it at a cost of around £800 but I sat down one day and fiddled for a few hours and have been building packages ever since. wonder if i can claim the £800 training fee Wink
