hi, i am doing this, this week as it happens.
i have chosen health and saftey at work act 1974 (legislation)
and behaviour. ( policy)
listing the t/a's role on implementing health and saftey at work
ie: promoting the saftey of the children and staff in the workplace by ensuring electric equipment you are about to use have the test pack sticker on,
a t/a must be aware of the fire drill,
a t/a should be aware of the procedures when a child is taken ill, who to report too etc,
include the words the teaching assistants 'should', 'be ware', 'must,' 'can'
and 'will'
behaviour
a t/a's role is to promote positive behaviour
show in your work how this can be done
listing negative behaviour too
include: children will copy what adults do, as adults we must prove to be a good role model
