WE WON!!!!

OK I shouldn't crow but today I had a real buzz.

Working in Year six the two classes had to compete with eachother performing the same song. Then the rest of the schoolgo away and vote on their favourite.

I was asked to co-ordinate this for one class (class teacher absent for PPA/Senco etc) whilst the other class were being led by their teacher.

I followed last years teacher style. Got the kids to mind map what they wanted to include, what talents they wanted to show off, what they wanted to wear etc.

Today was a climax of PomPoms, body popping, irish dancing, guitar playing, karate chopping, backing singing....and four boys being Take That.

It was FAB, the singing was pretty awful (can't have everything) but how could it fail to capture the imaginations and hearts of the Reception - YR5
classmates.

To be fair other class were really slick and sang really well, but our class won it with quite a majority and I am sure it was because of their inpout and talents. A really fun activity that I can definitel reccomend.
