Mr V has just finished reading this book and loved it (he liked curious incident too) I have never known him to chuckle so much over a book and in his words 'the way he could present each character both male and female so realistically was fantastic'

A hit with Mr V

Maybe we should do a hit or miss poll for books?

only chuckled once - and now cant remember what it was that made me laugh out loud!

Loved it. Characters were real and I could recognise myself in some eek! Worrying about moles and skin cancer.

The dad so needed someone to listen to him. But I could have given him a shake for not given his wife a harder time! he let her off lightly - but suppose she got her come comeuppance at the wedding teehee.

Marriage guidance ideally would have been the first point of call

On the other hand - the wife having the affair was her way of coping with what she saw as a boring marriage.

The character Ray - hmmmm - was he too good to be true?

Cant wait to read more by Mark Haddon
