I hope this isn't an inappropriate thing to do.........but I would like to sing my own praises
I haven't read a book cover to cover for many years but....thanks to the forum's Book Club and it's keen members, I have now read 18 books in 6 months *pats self on back , the last of which had 543 pages!
Thankyou for starting up the Book Club ......I feel I've turned a corner and am now enjoying literature I'd never dreamt I would even attempt before _________________ “Do not watch the petals fall from the rose with sadness, know that,

Summer.......I don't know what's wrong with me.....I very rarely get moved to tears by a book, by other things yes, but books no.....unless of course life is particularly cr*p at the time i'm reading it - then there are floods
But...yes I did shed a few at the end of this one.........very very moving.
I don't know if it's an accurate account of what someone goes through with leukemia, but even so the author must have done a lot of research on the matter. That must have been traumatic in itself. I couldn't see anywhere that it was based on a true story...but maybe I missed that bit.
A recommended read especially as everyone's lives are touched by cancer to some degree. _________________ “Do not watch the petals fall from the rose with sadness, know that,
