I went to see 'PS I love you' with Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler. Fantastic film and though it is a weepy in places, there are lots of funny moments to balance it all out.

For those who have read the book, her friend [the man eater] was really good and funny.

One of those films that I would actually go and see again.

Went to see this on a day when I was feelin a bit tearful anyway...well....I only cried a teeny bit! Loved the film even though it wasn't quite the same as the book, thought it was good in it's own way!

My daughters both read the book then watched the film and were disappointed. I watched the film the other day and am now reading the book. They both said I will enjoy the book more. Very Happy

Now i've seen the film I would recommend peeps to see it BEFORE reading the book. I really enjoyed book and as such had high expectations, however the film is soooooooooooooooo different.

Agree with Bluebell, the man-eater friend (Phoebe, Friends) had some great lines Razz
