had first trainign day today. so much paperwork and thinking involved lol. annoying cos when we applied last june we had the old standards, now 2008 is here the new standards have started. they arent really any harder once u have your head round them, but the whole day was mind blowing lol. so much to think about and remember

wendy went through the same thing, could have come home a cried after my first day, did the 3 day route so even contemplated not registering for assessment so i couldnt attend the last two days.
but carried on, like you said got my head round things and the rest is history.

Same here Wendy..........seemed to be so much blurb..........

Day 2 was everso slightly better (wee bit clearer mud!)

and by Day 3 we had it sussed! Then came the tricky bit........ Confused

my assessment is ready and im all set - except i have a bad throat and swollen glands and my voice keeps coming and going

I've just begun my HLTA second day on Friday 19th Sept, and my head felt the same way think it exploded!!!! I'm alittle worried about the tasks ahead. Confused

Yes the third day is more enlightening.My advice would be to do the Tasks you are asked to do on time because you will disect them on Day 2 and 3 and then there will be less work to do later.
