I am doing my Level 3 TA course and my assignment is on teaching time to y3 pupils. Thought it would be easy to get games but turning out difficult. Lots of interactive which should be useful, but I also want some actual games that I can play without being in the computer suite! If anyone could suggest anything I would be very grateful.
Thanks.

seen a teacher do this.....

all on carpet. ask 2 to stand up. 1st one to get the right time stays standing and goes against another......and so on. Kids got right into it when one child was beating loads. (so can get little noisy)

For teaching analogue time I've drawn a clock on the floor with chalk and without the hands. One child plays the hour hand and another the minutes. They can choose where they stand and the remaining children to guess the time. You can adapt this by quietly asking the children playing the hands to move and the rest have to work out how many hours and minutes have passed. You can make up problems and they can use the human clock to work the answers out by getting the 'clock hands to move the appropriate hours/minutes either backwards or forwards.

I've also done a similar thing as Tiki but I have used A4 number cards 1-12 and placed them in a clock form on the floor.
