Can anyone let me know roughly how many pieces of evidence they submitted? There are 31 standards plus a few a,b,c's and you can submit 2 pieces per standard so I reckon about 70!
I have used the same piece of evidence more than once and a couple of the standards I've only got one pece of evidence for. But I'm up to Doc Ref 52........
Begining to think this is too many, or should I leave them in to cover myself?
Also do you put Doc Ref in the text in brackets or in the standard setion? |

have just got back from day 2 of training, and we covered this today. We were told max of 2 pieces of evidence for each standard, but could just be 1. If you couldnt think of any it was ok to leave a few, but these will be questioned on your assessment day. Also the trainer advised using 1 piece of evidence 3-4 times. For example a lesson plan could fit into a few standards. He said to photocopy it and highlight or annotate the relevant part to that standard. Likewise an IEP could fit a few standards and be annotated.
As for referencing we were told for referencing evidence to use T1.1 for Task 1 evidence 1, T1.2 for task 1 evidence 2 etc |

Just looked through my file and I had 89pieces, although it still wasn't any thicker than 5cm, as Jay said. We were also told not to use a piece of evidence more than four times.
I set out my file in task order and just numbered the pages pg 1, pg2 etc putting the standard claimed on that page under the page number. (hope thats not too confusing)

No not too confusing at all, that is what I am up to my eyeballs in at the moment. I hadn't heard about not being able to use one more than 4 times though.
I've got 1 that I have used 6 times . Guess I should rethink, but time is running out on me. |

We wern't told about the 4 standards per piece of evidence either. In fact on prep day three we were shown an example with 8 standards on. What I tried to do after Rover's advice was to try a max of 4 as the main source of evidence, then use any extra standards the document hit in the additional evidence column.
My assessment day is first week in Feb, so not long at all!! _________________

Thanks DQ and Jay!
I could do with a bit of hypnotherapy I think to make me more confident and chilled. I was even quite nervous at my performance management this year and that was with someone I work with every day!!!
Do those herbal tablets called Kalms work? _________________
