Could anyone ask their teenagers for me.......what book they used in school? As her friends I have asked all say "dunno"...hmmm. I know it's the ones that have the play one side...then interpretation on right hand side.
Would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Looked up the heinemann edition. Looked inside on Amazon. It doen't have the modern interpretation alongside (on right hand side). I have seen these books on a website somewhere and can't recall for the life of me where. Any one else any ideas??? Pllleeeaaasseee!!!!
If not, no worries, Heinemann will suffice. |

I have asked around daughters friends. They say they don't do Shakespeare in yr10. Yr 9 and 11. Then, at the next local school they do it yr9, 10 and 11. Oh well, no harm in still doing it eh. Got the film yesterday so might watch that today. Managed to get a book off ebay...hoping it's a helpful one. |

Ah, now I understand. Seems like a good plan to go with. Reckon I will follow that idea, as daughter is feeling bit weighed down by trying to do Lit and Lang at same time. And it would help me!!!! I sit planning the work and it seems never ending,(with planning other subjects too) so to concentrate on one side first may help us both. |

That seems good idea too. That way it's out the way and can block it out whilst get onto the next. Have the EWO coming Thurs, so shall enquire about dates/exams etc etc. |

I know the answer to that one already DQ. They offer zilch!
Luckily the AQA website is very handy as to what needs doing. Has been a great help telling me exactly what needs to be done in english for coursework toward exam and what could be expected in exam this year and next year.
And other sites are very helpful. I feel quite confident on tackling it all due to them....oh, except maths!!!! My weak area.
However, I can still ask. Having booklists would be a very handy. |

Reading through all the "buff" they sent me, the LEA have a duty of care if they believe child is not recieving suitable education. If they are happy they are recieving it they have no reason to deal with you.....check up once a year, by Education Inspector.
Anyway...more help needed you wonderful people!!!!
For Shakespeare, how many essays/assignments account for exam coursework? I seem to be reading it is 1 for eng lit and 1 for eng lang. But can combine the two into 1. Is that right?
If doing one seperate for Eng Lang can someone explain how I approach this assignment differently? (and what's the difference in outcome) Need to verify this before I get to that point.
Have loads of other areas I need help with, but not to do with Shakespeare. |
