Jimbo did Romeo and Juliet and hated it. I loved it when I did it and our Years 6s did too when we performed it a few years back for assembly. |

I did the usual too, Romeo & Juliet & Macbeth in year 9 & 1o respectively . One tragedy & one history.
Syllabus may have changed though?

When I was at school (many moons ago... ) we did King Lear, Midsummer Nights Dream and Julius Caesar (loved those). The lower group did A Winter's Tale and Taming of the Shrew.
My son, KS3, has just done Much Ado About Nothing but it appears to have been a modern reworking rather than the traditional Shakespeare. _________________
