Hello everyone.

I found out today that I have an interview for a Special Needs Assistant post that I applied for. The interview is on Monday so I don't have much time to prepare!

It's my first interview of this kind as I've been working in administrative roles since finishing Uni. I'm not very good at interviews as I get too nervous, just wondering if anyone had any tips? Also, what sort of things should I be expecting?

Argh! Thanks for any info! Smile

Hi Hellie!

I'm a new chatter and have just seen your posts on getting your job.
Congratulations! Hope you have settled in to your role and it's everything you hoped for.

Now I'm going to beg!

I've applied for new job as special needs support assistant too and will hear on monday if I have an interview.....really hope so but very nervous!

Can I be cheeky and ask you your secret?! I've followed the links from dancing queen and they've been helpful in my preparation.

Any tips will be appreciated!

Hi Mooburger!

Sorry I've only just logged on and seen your post. For my interview I just used the links I was given and made sure I had prepared an answer for each one, then I practised by getting my boyfriend to role play an interview situation with me every day leading up to the actual interview!

During my interview I was able to answer every question really well, except one, but was still surprised when I got the call to say I had got the job!

Sorry I don't think I've been much help! Good luck! Smile

Hi Hellie!

Thanks for replying and don't worry, you have been a great help!

I've tried the practising a role play interview with my husband but he drives me made giving me the most useful (not) advice!

Interview is friday morning and I too have prepared an answer for each possible question so I will persevere and get my husband to be serious...for once!

Thanks again...will let u know what happens!

Love Mooburger! x
