This book was AMAZING, I was so gripped by the story that I managed to read it in 2 days.

I'm reading 'The girls' by Lori Lansen at the moment, again, it seems to be a good read so far................will let you know.

I always check out the used books on Amazon as you can often pick
up a bargain. One of our reception teachers who is an avid reader every half term leaves a selection of books she has read in the staff room for anyone to take. Have just picked up 'Sushi for Beginners' by Marian Keyes. Smile

I loved The Island - borrowed it from the library and then lent it to my head - she was half way through when she went to the library and asked them to put it on her ticket - they kept it as there was a request for it!

We have a shelf on the bookcase in the staff room that is a book swap - take anything you fancy and bring in anything you're finished with - works well.

only a few pages left to read now...in a way i want to finish it...but i dont want it to end!

good storyline...some a bit predictable...but then changes your predictions.......im hoping for a good ending

at the start i thought it was going to be too morbid, but even though you learn about life and death for the lepers the story doesnt dwell on that, and goes off to other characters to keep the story alive

im wondering what is going to happen in the last few pages Smile

I really enjoyed this book too. I thought it was written really well, I liked the different paces of the story.

Can I book my ticket for the next flight on Air TA Chat to Crete please? Wink
