Have been sat doing knowledge base for 3.17 NVQ L3 ALLLLlllll day!! You know how it is, after a while your brain just goes numb. Can anyone help a little. I've mentioned demonstrating before a child attempts to use computer themselves, asking a child to tell me what I have just done and ask if they are sure of the instructions and what is expected of them - what else? get them to use all the senses by using the sound as well

get them to demonstrate that they understand by showing you by going through the instructions on their own step by step

make sure they are sitting at the right height etc, take a break as necessary, the font is big enough and legible

Great - thanks for those tips. I will add them and elaborate on them a bit. That should give me enough I think. I'm going to call it a day after finishing that one I think - I'm ready for my tea.
