I am just starting part 2 of the level 3 cache t/a course. We need to choose a learning need for our assignments. Does anyone know if diabetes constitutes as a learning need. Is a learning need the same as a learning disability? Oh dear, I am just so confused. Help!!!

I dont think diabetes is a learning need as unless they have other problems the diabetes would not necessary affect they learning.
Look at things like Dyslexia, Dispraxia, Hearing/vision problems, Autism or Aspergers and speech problems

I agree with littlemiss, diabetes is a medical need and doesn't generally affect their learning.
