The big brown envelope has dropped through the letterbox............and I've been awarded HLTA status.......yay!!!
Don't think it will make any difference to my job or pay, but it did it for me because I felt that I worked to those standards.
Thanks to every one of you that helped, advised and encouraged me along the way.
Cheers _________________

Should I keep Grantly as my avatar? Has there ever been a more upstanding figurehead of a teacher to look up to. A constant reminder to us mere TAs.
Or I could change to someone a bit more pleasing on the eye like Jack Rimmer!!!
Perhaps I should just start a favourite WR poll in the correct place? _________________

Well done Lbee , sorry I missed the announcment, I havent been on the forum for a while. Keep up the good work - you never know your job/pay may change because of it, mine has - only temporarily though but you never know what the future holds!!

Thanks everyone. We have been told our roles for Septmeber will be announced by the end of this term. So watch this space for an update. I'm not holding out much hope of any change unless HT wants to opt for cheap supply!! _________________

Be careful that is a possibility ring up and find out the wages now. Make sure you get some planning time built in. |
