Got my results tonight for my first assignment, I got a D, to be honest I am totally gutted at this result. I know its still a pass but I worked so hard on it while going through a lot of personal problems that I feel so down.

I have looked through my own copy of the assignment and I can't really see whats wrong with it. I haven't had any written feedback from CACHE yet, still waiting to hear from them. I am going to re-enter it but wanted to know if anyone could give me some advice?? I can even email my assignment if anyone has any time to read it

I assume I went wrong on C1 to get a grade mark - question being explain the importance of accurate monitoring and recording changes in the pupil's behaviour and learning.

Any help would be great

i havent done the Cache, but was everything you wrote relevant and to the point? laid out correctly and proof read with no repetition?

im sure it was, so it may be that you have to go through and make sure everything was included. If you are going to get feedback then wait for that, then change as necessary. Also get your tutors advice, thats what she is there for. Did she give you notes or any tutorials on the expectations?

Is there any way you can speak to someone else on the course, get some ideas of what others have done?

I have just dug out my unit 1 C1. I put something like: Accucurate monitoring and recording is vital as it provides an all round picture that can assist teachers and teaching assistants meet an individual childs needs. The accuracy of the information will determine the progression of the child and can be gathered in a number of different ways, whether summative or formative. Janet Kay 2002 page 103 states that the "assessment is to ensure that teachers know: * what children know,
*what they can do, * where they need to go next.

hiya vixie have youheard anything about how you got a D? i have just finished mine and it has to be handed in on tues 3rd June i'm so scared that i have done something wrong it sounds ok with me but you never know do you? i have 24 pages with whole report is that 2 many? about 3550 without obs, titles, references and bibliography. Hi i have done cache aswell and i got a D by D stands for DESTINCTION which is better than a pass.
Well done so relax and stop beating yourself up. your tutor should have explained it better to you.

No Carla level 3 is A- E grade you must have done level 2. I have done unit 1 level 3 and got an A and unit 2 has to be handed in next monh so I will do my best. Are you going to do Level 3 Carla BD x
