Can anyone help me. Just been put in charge of KS 2 (year 3 qnd 4) SEN at my school. I would like a good spelling programme/intervention scheme. The children are not awful but just need abit of a catch up. In school we have Jolly Phonics, toe to toe and sir kits but looking for something a bit different. Any recomendations, (especially as I am the worlds worst LSA at spelling).

I've used Word Shark as well and agree with you Summer. Smile

I also use this program a lot.

it's an American program but you can enter your own words in the program or change the spelling of the odd different American spelling color - colour It's not a program that the children would use but you can use it to produce all sorts of on paper activites for them. I bought it and downloaded it for my own use with my groups a few years ago. Since then a number of the teachers have started using it.
