hi i have seen this mentioned on here a few times and wondered if anyone could give me anymore info on it. Can you convert a cache level 3 ta into an nvq ? and as they are similar what are the benefits? Sorry if this has been asked before but think i would be interested. thanks

Basically what is in your assignments for your cache level 3 can be used as evidence in you NVQ. if you have achieved an A you will only need to complete a few more sections to pass your NVQ. However that said you don't need to do both and there is no rush to complete your NVQ. I did mine in three months as you need 3 school visits and I was lucky that my tutor could see observe me regularly, a friend of mine took over 12 months to complete hers . Some ta's just have the NVq and some the cache on most applications it asks if you have either of these qualifications.

thanks for your reply, interested to find out as have heard about it a few times. Got enough on with cache at the mo !! waiting for results on second assignment. Thanks.
CACHE level 3 is equal to NVQ level 3 on the National Qualifications framework. So it's a waste of time doing both. Job adverts usually just say level 3 qualification because employers know these days there is more than just the NVQ route.
I would just finish the CACHE and enjoy!!!
