Is anyone else doing this course?
It's a new 15 point course which started at the beginning of May in its first presentation. I'm enjoying it so far.

It is very interesting Veggie, bit hard to motivate yourself to do TMA1 though because it doesn't actually count towards your pass/fail mark!

I hope it all went well for you? You must be about finished now?

I have received my books and had a quick read through and looks interesting.

I sent off the ECA at the end of July. It was very interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just hope this reflects in my mark!

rl2957. The website has just opened for DSE232 and I have been playing about with the Wiki thingie; never done one of them before Rolling Eyes

How did you get on with it? What was it used mainly for?

Have you got your results back yet?

HI Veggie
No results are due next month (or 2 weeks away)!

The wiki was withdrawn on our presentation as they had quite a few issues with it so I only used it at the beginning of the couse. It was mainly used for our own reference, a place to store our ideas. and also it was an option to evaulate it for the ECA (but I should say it was one of 5 options so not a problem if you didnt use it, even though it was withdrawn!)

Hope this helped!
x

Thanks rl2957, that has helped!! I have played about with the practice Wiki, but it seems a bit of a fiddle if it doesn't actually count towards anything Rolling Eyes

maybe it will disappear on this presentation too Wink

Let me know when you get your results.

So sorry rl2957. You were first presentation though so must have been hard. Do you know how others did?

But you passed, that is worth celebrating, at the moment looking at it all [with everything else I am doing] I will be lucky to do that so

Have done 99% of TMA, but am completely stuck on last part of third Q. Messaged my tutor, not asking for answers, just wanting a bit of confirmation as I want to get it done because I have exam a few days before TMA is due in [I always crash and burn after an exam]. Reply was not very helpful at all, I know they are limited in what they can say but surely can say 'your way off there look at X' or 'that sounds OK'. She just told me to read all the resources - Nooooo!!! Why didn't I think of that [sorry being sarcastic there Evil or Very Mad ]

Been a crap day in general so just letting off steam; please ignore grumpy, feeling-sorry-for-herself Veggie Rolling Eyes
