we did this with our yr 4s a bit ago. Talked about the five pillars, which they wrote down under their collage of the flag they made....which took exactly 1 lesson.
but another site if necessary.

Hi There,
I'm not sure if my post is a bit late coming but I'm a Muslim (that may help!!!) so ask if you have any questions or wanting ideas!
what kind of traditions are you looking for? I'm thinking celebrations...birth rituals, marriage fasting etc??

We explore Islam and Muslim festivals in Y3 every year. Have a display which incs clothes, prayer mat, wedding garland, Qur'an and photos.
We look at the differences between a mosque and christian place of worship, we make Eid cards in a lesson and design prayer mats in another and talk in length about the five pillars. _________________ “Do not watch the petals fall from the rose with sadness, know that,
