Found out today that I will be working with 3 reception children.

1 is a gifted & talented autistic boy on 2 morning inclusion from the local special school.

2 other pupils that I don't have the information for as yet.

I'm really looking forward to it.

The teachers already know where they are going to be next year. We don't...

Found out today that not only do the teachers know where they are going to be - they also know where WE are going to be but have been sworn to secrecy. Sad

Happened every year where I was before. Always told on the lasy day, sometimes not till the afternoon Shocked

Happens like that in our school.Teachers get to know,then they argue about it and see what can be changed then the HT has final say and then we wait about 2 or 3 weeks,then they tell us!!!!
I had a feeling I was moving as another TA kept coming in to see my teacher. Turns out the HT had asked her to change her hours s she could work in my class, so of course when this happened my teacher told the powers that be that we all should know at the same time!!!
Just disgusted every year how this is handled!!

So some have spilt the beans we were not told not to Shocked

Mine have changed already and may change again so 'I is not saying nuffing more!' I have extra hours so one or two TA's are looking Evil or Very Mad

at me.I am fulltime next year.

I asked SEN the other day as to whether by chance we would know our timetables before September. Apparently they have been drawn up but we are last to know. All I want to know is what days I will be working so I can book onto courses at the sports centre.

You are right, I have noticed a bit of whispering and manouvering going on. Can't be bothered to get involved.

Nobody had a performance review in our school for 6 years I wish they would!

As a dinner lady I was the only one to get a performance review! Quotas for HT? or what? Was year ago now and she happy with my work.

All good news so far, I've got my extra hours plus I can sort them out with my CT as to what days she wants me. Plus school going to fund my college course. Xcellent. Smile

Mine changed and then one of my 1:1 was swapped.HT must have thought he was being mean to me as I had some of the worst kids in school swapped one for a slightly better one. Very Happy

Ours don't either and we only have 2 weeks left. We have parents evenings this week and they are not going to be told until after that!!!! One week to prepare and plan room moves if necessary.

We don't expect to know until next term.
