Doing lots of reading in case i get an interview for a job i have applied for in the last week.

Reading around ECM at the moment. will move on and undoubtedly ask further questions on other things.

just a bit confused and it doesnt take much to confuse me!

i know what it is and why it was set up but how does it directly affect the children in school?

i know the 5 outcomes are stuck on the door of several classrooms but how is it included in the curriculum? for example does it appear in PSHE?

i don't see it as effecting the curriculum although it could be woven into pshe, pe etc.

I see it more as a document to influence not only how we treat children, it can influence our aims for them but mostly something to base policies on.

at college we have to be aware of ECM and to be able to relate where the different areas fit into the lessons/activities we do with the students
