Hi,

I am now on my 4th course with the OU and am still enjoying them greatly. Over the last few years i have sent my TMA's using the OU's email service (nice and easy) and sent hard copies by special delivery. My first tutor advised us to use special delivey as if the TMA was lost you could prove postage. My current tutor has advised against this as she may not be around to sign for it.

Any thoughts?

same with our tutor last year

just get a proof of posting from the post office when you send it, that is accepted by the OU

I did the same, we were advised not to send special/recorded delivery so just get a reciept.

My last tutor hated special delivery too. She was a bit odd though.

I quite often need to send it off at 11:45!!! so the ETMA system is ideal for me.
