hi, im rather new to all this!! i have my first TA interview tomorrow!! eeek! i have little classroom experience but experience in the sporting field coaching children various sports etc. I have a degree in sport science and specialised in the status of pe in primary schools for my final year dissertation. i have been informed that my interviw will consist of two parts, questions from the school govs and then an interview from the school council (children)-which is even scarier!! i am so enthusiastic and excited about the interview but a little scared the questions will be based around my experience (or lack of!) any ideas how i can express how enthuastic i am without looking like a fish out of water!! any advice in general would be welcome, for example, what the children may ask me!!!! thanks xxx cat xxx

As for what the children might ask you, all I can say to that is anything and everything.

hi guys
thanks loads for ur good wishes! the interview went really well! was told that 40 people applied and only 6 of us were interviewed so feel proud already!! they seemed impressed and i felt that i answered every question well really, as they seemed to respond well to my answered! was also interviewed by 6 of the children who asked me questions like..' descibe urself in 3 words' 'whats ur fav subject and why?' and even...'if u were an aninal, what would u be and why??!!' they were fantastic and it really gave me a confidence boost b4 my interview with the govs and head teachers! will find out on monday so will let u all know!
