I've been off work now for a while with glandular fever but now feeling well enough to read and ploughed through my stash of books ive been saving for my holiday

Im going to be off for 3 weeks and dont intend to do much apart from relax by the pool so need some reading matter

anyone got any suggestions for good holiday reading.

I loved the island and just finished all the Cecelia Ahern books, dont want anything too heavy though, the kite runner was brilliant but not very relaxing

sooooo... over to you guys for ideas

i suggest Marley and me, though i havent read it yet

i have just got the Richard and Judy summer reads and am reading East of the Sun by Julia Gregson which is quite an easy read

Affinity by Sarah Waters is a good atmospheric read

also hit the charity shop and maybe get some light reading that you can leave behind

im keeping The Book Thief, Remember Me and Marley and Me for my holiday along with a couple of others

i might try to get my hands on those before I go DQ, just need a few more to keep me going

Just finished My Best Friend's Girl & think that would be a brilliant holiday read, sad in places, bit of a roller coaster ride but with a happy ending (won't say which guy, leave that up to you ) a very enjoyable read without being too heavy

another one to add to my shopping list
