well Im in the right age range obviously but have too many commitments Wink

actually did something like that when I was 18 and it was the best thing i ever did

Wrong age range (just), wrong locality (not so just) & wrong job... apart from that I nearly applied.

Oh Dear I dont live in London! Oh and am much too old to apply what a shame helping children in the C arribbean sounded lovely!!

it was the Caribbean i went to, Barbados to be precises. We built shelters in school yards, a play area at a special school, redecorated old classrooms and loads more.

I eventually decided I wanted to work with the children and spent 10 months working in a special school in an old plantation building at the top of a hill. The kids were amazing, scenery breathtaking and the whole experience was one that was life changing. That was 24 years ago Confused
