Ours came on Tuesday but not told kids their marks yet as HT is checking them all carefully as she is worried that marked in a rush they may be wrong.

She found one of the maths papers had been added up wrong putting the child from 4A to 5!

What a mess! Sad

our school had there's but loads of the papers were marked incorrectly.

the person checking the spellings obviously couldn't spell & on some they have been added up incorrectly,

we are appealing against loads of them.

My eldest son (Yr 9) was told from the start that he wouldn't know until Year 10! Shocked The Year 6 results have arrived at the school I work at, and are being sent out with reports (tomorrow I think).

Ours arrived yesterday but the school are not happy with the marking. Several children have scored much higher than expected. Not sure when the parents are being told

we've had the science and english but the maths have failed to arrive! - Y6's.

what a mess! the best thing they can do would be to scrap them. and save all this hassle and confusion and upset next year.

I agree catbells best to scrap them, just do the internal assessments which happen in other year groups, alot less stress for the kids.
I feel so sorry for them that their whole year comes down to this.
We got ours yesterday but pupils have parents have not been told yet!!!!!
We think the sent a load of papers in a few weeks ago and they needed to be marked!!!!! Its all a mess and as for hearing markers have been guessing scores its not on!!!!!

it sounds like there is a gap in the market for careful people like us who need to supplement our income. We could all become markers for the SATS and earn our millions!!!!!!!!

Hummmm I wonder how I go about it? Confused
