Hubby & I went to Warwick in February & decided to return in August & hoped to get tickets to watch Hamlet at Stratford while we were there.

I went on the internet when we got home only to find that all datees were already sold out Shocked

The past few weeks I've been keeping an eye out on ebay, seatwave etc to see if any come up for sale & have been astounded at the prices people are charging to sell the tickets Evil or Very Mad

I spotted some for sale on seatwave for one of the dates we could go, they were for sale at £199.99..............EACH plus just over £70 commission and five pound odd postage - total cost for two tickets over £476 (original ticket price was around £30!!)

We would still love to go but not at ridiculously overinflated like this, it gets me so mad Evil or Very Mad

im assuming its the one with david tennant in, they were sold out the day they were released cus i tried to get some that day

I hate this, I wouldn't mind if it was genuine people buying all the tickets but when you see them on for resale on ebay the same day .........gr**###!!!!;;;;

different artist, but same grrrr, my daughter would love to see Lee Evans but I refuse to pay over inflated prices to greedy people, so she'll have to do with the DVD when it comes out (not the same experience as live Crying or Very sad

)

I don't know which internet ticket agency you used, but I have FOUR bookmarked. Often one will say "sold out" or "not yet available" while another will be selling tickets. Each agency has its own "block" in the arenas too, so if you keep the various seating plans in a folder on your computer you can pick the best seats available!

yes that's the one summer, just though it would have been great to watch a Shakespeare play actually in Stratford, couldn't believe how quickly they were all sold out Rolling Eyes
