Loved it! Brought back many memories of growing up with our Scotty Sally. Definitely need the tissues!

Totally agree with that bit!! When I read it (on holiday of all places) I sat there in tears remembering growing up with King our German Shepherd, just goes to prove the point that dogs really do become your best friend.

i read it a while ago. we have a lab. so could well identify.

Thought I might like this book until I read "need tissues". I would need an ark!! Am banned from watching Lassie ,and as my Belgian Shepherd is elderly ,maybe a book for the future though!!

started to read it on holiday, but kept crying and it made me miss Tinks too much so have still to finish the last few chapters
