i'm fed up I decided to have a major blitz on this room yesterday as it is so messy.Mess and stuff everywhere as Jimbo and I sorted through everything. Just as we were at the height of the clearout the back boiler on my stove must have cracked we noticed about 1/2 to 1hour after as Jimbo walked on sodden carpet.That isn't the worst of it I cannot get aplumber so have all the water turned off and took a precarious visit to the loft( You should try getting into it) to tie ballcock up with string. Went to help friend as promised and returned to find the ****** thing is still leaking.Thank God for carry out trays from the local Chinese takeaway as they are just the right size to catch the water.JT of course is away.Ran plumber in village........too busy.Rang his mate.......... no reply.Rang another Heating engineer who has done work for son.........was going away for weekend and gave me another number of mate who fails to answer phone or reply to desperate calls so I have given up so no water till Monday.

Check to see if you've got emergency call out with your house insurance Jack. If so, they'll get someone to you very quickly as it cuts down the cost of the claim.

No bl****** plumbers.Sorry DQ.No-one came I had to hitch myself into the loft nearly falling(would definitely broken a leg or two) to tamper with me ballcock!
Luckily we have an outside toilet and a garden tap so used that until I got fed up today and turned water back on and crossed fingers.Still catching drips.
It gets worse..............son no1 rang am to say he wasn't well and could I call in after church.I decided to go earlier because it isn't like him to phone.Anyway he looked awful so trip to Doctors, then Tescos for prescription and if he gets worse advice.Well after buying soup, ice lollies,yoghurt,creme caramels etc I insisted he came home for the night.Well he got worse so I phoned NHS direct and after speaking to the lovely Mary who confirmed what I was thinking......off to hospital and he is there now poor lamb.Intravenous drip, antibiotics and oxygen. We saw Triage nurse who sent him straight through saying he needed a drip because he was dehydrated we then waited 2 1/4 hrs before seeing the Doctor who put him straight on the drip and admitted him.Why oh why did he need to wait 2 1/4 hrs.I know they were busy but if someone needs a drip please give it to them and don't wait until they are parched and can't keep any fluids down! So feeling quite worried about my little boy.

awww Jack, if i was nearer i would have a plumber there for you
