Oh thanks Beamie.Well he must be enjoying a bit of TLC as he stayed another night without any persuasion.Lovely to have him home.I dug up my first lot of potatoes for him.They are huge this year and taste scrummy.He is making up for all the meals he missed.

PS.We have acquired my friend's (who went to Canada) black cat do you think that will help.She is 20 so will live out her remaining time with us hopefully.Came down this morning to find her curled up with Jimbo on the sofa.

Enjoy the time with your son - providing nurture and love with some good home grown food thrown in for good measure. Treasure these times Jack. i know he's been really poorly but there are bonuses here in this unexpected time you have together.

The potatoes sound particularly scrummy!

and the cat - well sounds like she's blissfully happy already.

And dont forget 'you' time too Jack.
