The school policy for confidentiality of information- who is entitled to pass on what information to whom ?

CAn anyone give me any help on this one

well i think parents should always be referred to the teacher so a TA wouldnt discuss the child or any problems with them

also you wouldnt tell parents about another childs behaviour or problems

school information is confidential and shouldnt be disussed with anyone

information is passed on on a 'need to know' basis.

you could praps use the example of meeting a parent outside school who asks you about their child, or something about school. and in that case you would need to refer them back to the class teacher/Head Teacher. its not appropriate to discuss ianything with that parent. Boundaries and all of that too.
