Hello! I joined the forum because I am starting my NVQ3 to become a TA in September. I am sticking with my current job in retail (although very part time) because I need to fund the course myself. I will be working in our local primary school for two days a week in a voluntary capacity. My two children attend the school, and I am on the PTA and have helped on and off for several years as a parent helper in the nursery, so I have good links with the school and am hoping that things will go well!
I am really looking forward to getting support from the forum (especially as I have no prior experience), and hopefully giving support where possible, even if it is only to sympathise / listen.
