It's a long story I wont bore you with ,but have had Bed troubles since March, with bed bought from Tesco Direct. After much threatening with court action, the long awaited part was due today. I was up early and waited from 7 am this morning.... And what time did the part arrive??? 9pm. I am Livid. Apparently the original van broke down at 7;30 am but I got call at 5;30 to say a little bit delayed. Also men who came didnt know was just part and tried to deliver whole bed. Tesco will be gettig a piece of my mind tommorow! ( The impression I got was that I will not be the only one- delivery men included!!) Morale of the tale DONT BUY BEDS FROM TESCO!!! Thanks for letting me rant and get off my chest. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Feel better now. Smile

And jumped up and down on it?

We have in the past had a few problems with food shopping deliveries from Tesco and I have to say when we 'complained' we were always happy with the end result, I guess we were lucky.
The problem is with big stores like them and all the others is they seem to have the attitude that we, the consumer, need them more than they need us, which I think brings about their couldn't care less response to complaints.

Good luck with getting this sorted Fleur, I always try and bring into conversation or letters that I will be contacting trading standards for advice, stick to your guns tho and don't let them try and intimidate you.

Let us know how you get on.

A agree about the big companies thing! We had a problem with Asda when their delivery lorry reversed into our house. They sorted out paying the repair bill within a few weeks due to us chasing them (only paying the exact amount) but when we have written to complain about their insurance company dealing with it they have NEVER got back. We have had no recompense for all the telephone calls, letters and hanging around or an apology!?! Mad

Awwww Fleur....I hope they removed the part off the bed that you DID need! Confused

Star that's awful....so they left you with more than your shopping THAT day! Confused
