Just thought I'd pop in and see how everyone else was finding it (if you've started it)...

I'm finding it a challenge, to say the least... Confused I have decided I'm not really cut out for writing reports of this kind. And I love the way they say to follow the guidance given by your tutor for TMA04... since the two assignments have very little in common!!!! Rolling Eyes Very Happy Chocolate teapots spring to mind... lol

Anyway, good luck with it everyone. Very Happy Last one! Very Happy

Hi Veggie

Thank you! hug I've managed to get it done - it was the one about Floating and Sinking. My main problem in the end was that I had too many words - nearly 1000 words over the limit. I've managed to whittle it down now and it's 2266. Do you think that would be acceptable? I don't know if I'll be able to reduce it any more without losing a) the plot and b) the better bits of it. Rolling Eyes I asked my tutor about word count etc once before when I was a bit over and she never did give me an answer.

Anyway, I've ordered Erika Cox revision notes too, as it's unlikely that I'll be able to make the revision day in London this year - and I've read somewhere online (forget where) that they come in handy for TMAs...

Thank you for offering to help though, Veggie - it's very much appreciated and any thoughts you have would be great! Very Happy

It was floating and sinking when I did it but you will have had people to analysis. If you can lose 66 words it may be better, I have always been told you can go 10% over, therefore 2200 is acceptable.

Good luck with the exam.

I have also pm-ed you.

Thanks, Veggie! Smile Have dropped you a line.

I will lose those extra words... not sure how but I didn't expect to lose as many as I already have. I think I'll leave it until tomorrow though - starting to not be able to see my own point of view... lol

That is what I have been doing for 06 DD307 today!! None of it seems to make much sense Rolling Eyes

Here is a link where you (and others) can download past exam papers for ED209 for £1.25 from the OU 'shop'. They helped me with my revision, I have downloaded the DD307 ones today.

Hi rl2957

Yes, I've sent mine off... not wildly confident that it was any good but I felt I'd proofread it and mangled it about enough. Very Happy

I HATE report writing... Evil or Very Mad Very Happy

Good luck with your writing up! Very Happy
