Returned from my holiday early in Newquay on wedneasday , as i was sick off seeing rain , the weather was terrible . it stopped us doing anything as traffic jams were created by people trying to escape to a dryer place . we had 1 nice day out of nearly 2wks , my hubby and i argued alot because we were so fed up .We eventually packed up , on our 20th wedding anniversary and came home , we didn't celebrate it or aknowledge it , i still have a bottle of bubbly in the fridge , we didn't even send each other a card .Don't think we will be going next year , need hot and sunny climax ,We even sold our caravan .

Oh Dear Lizzy so sorry to hear your holiday was marred by awful weather! And that your 20th wedding anniversary was not good this year. Can you and hubby find some "you time" and have that bottle bubbly in celebration of still being married for 20 years despite the weather? Good Luck and to the next 20 years.x Smile

Sorry to hear that your holiday was spoilt by the weather, and that your 20th Anniversary went unmarked, such a shame.
As Fleur has suggested I hope you get some "you time" to celebrate what nowadays is a great achievement

Sorry to hear of your holiday, nothing worse when you've been looking forward to it. Must be something about wedding anniversaries, its our 29th today and the first time we spoke - over the phone - we had an arguement and haven't spoken since.

Oh Lizzy i'm sorry that you've had a naff holiday. Can be so disappointing when you dont get the break that you've been looking forward to for ages.

The anniversary? Yes it is one day but its also a year that you are celebrating which extends until your 21st.

Praps you can plan something special soon. 20 yrs is indeed well worth celebrating

Take care of you...

So sorry that things haven't gone to plan. Maybe you can celebrate when you both feel better.

Hope all on the mend Lizzy and Daisycat. I sadly didn't make it to 20 years married only 19! May you all have many more happy anniversaries!
