Am familiar with most (and even some of the more obscure) Abbreviations but can someone please enlighten me as to what CPD stands for??? Creative Pink Dalmations, Cool Pyrotechnic Display, Cosy Polypropylene Duvet or what???

a TMA is a tutor marked assignment/assesment

why do they need abbreviating? cant it just be said, im sure the kids wont remember all that!

yeah we have 2 soft toys, walt and wilf.. so we show them at the beginning of the lesson.

not sure my students would take me seriously if i stood up with soft toys! they have enough trouble remembering vocabulary let alone abbreviations Confused

lol I was talking about year2, obviously ud adapt it to the age of the kids u work with, maybe having them written on some card n laminated to refer to.
