Our Head in staff meetings will use alot of abbreviations which does my head in because some of the time i've got absolutely no idea what on earth she is talking about and although the chances are there are others who dont know either - i know she would answer me very cuttingly. Why use loads of jargon is beyond me - unless everyone is crystal clear about the meanings then its very belittling and condescending i always feel.

she'll talk about the RAP and SERF and ISP's or praps there's just one of those!

ALOT of ppl havent lived all their lives in education and i always think that actually these ppl are the ignorant ones to assume that everyone else knows exactly what they are talking about.
