I'm going to make an easter bonnet with little kitty for her school's competion on thursday.
I want to make little chicks to sit on the top, was going to do it with yellow cotton wool balls and some googly eyes but can't get hold of any yellow cotton wool!!
Now i'm thinking of making pom poms with wool for the chicks.
Just thought i would ask on here first to see if anybody had a better idea.
Help........... if u can _________________

They probably have the coloured ones.Jimbo and I made one when she was little-also had small spring flowers around made from tissue and pipe cleaners. If you use two white ones stuck together and add ears and feet you'll have a bunny.Have fun and cherish those times you'll miss them later. |
Thought about using colouring but decided against it just in case it gets wet, i thought the colour might run!?? _________________

When I made hats for mine (at toddlers) a couple of years ago, I bought sets of chicks from the pound shop.
If you happen to have any lillies, the pollen from them would stain the cotton wool (and every thing else!!)
Happy making - and we want to see a photo! |

We made little pom poms with the kids at school by weaving around the tines of a fork. Put a long thread through first at right angles to the tines (this is for tying the pom pom) . Weave the wool to the top and then tie the long thread and cut the loops. |
