I run both gross motor skills and fine motor skills group. I went to a one afternoon training session and since then have been left alone, to plan, take and evaluate the children. Each child has it written in their IEP that they are attending the group. Each group has 12 children in it. I run it with another TA.
Have had to search the internet for ideas as I have used up all the ideas in the booklet that I was given.
I enjoy it though, it is two hours out of my hectic life.

very interesting!
Is this a training session run by the school or did you find it yourself?

The training session is run by the local 'special school'. We have had several children who have gone on to there when they leave. They also run outreach sessions. If you have a special school in your area they might be able to help you if you ask. We only have to ask for help and they are there.
