We had an inset day for team teach, all staff including luch staff asked to attend. I never thought I would have to use it, but at the moment we have a challanging child who sometimes needs 'assistance to sit on a chair'.
Knowing that I can do this in complete safety for both the child and me is essential.
Our local special needs school have proffessional instructors that came and run our course.

It was a very worthwhile course and I would recommend it.

I did this course last year and am doing it again at end of May, really enjoyed it first time round and is definitely worth it. Everybody in our school is team teach trained, I work in an SEBD school.

I have also done Team Teach. It's an excellent course. Unfortunately though I have used my knowledge a number of times.
