Thats what i was gonna say.

We made old treasure maps and soaked the tea bags for a bit and then using the tea bag carefully wiped/dotted in on the paper, left it to dry and did it again.

Can also use coffee, not sure it that smells much tho...

But hang it up to dry otherwise it sticks to the surface you've put it on... Very Happy Yes, I was that stupid... lol

Also, you could use real ink instead of biro to write on it. Smile That would be more authentic. Smile

Maybe my tea was extra sticky... or something... Rolling Eyes lol

Perhaps you could tear and crinkle a bit before putting the tea on? To apply, just use a used tea bag. Smile

Have a look in the store cupboard at school, there's probably some paper that has been in there for years, faded and curled at the edges, we've definitely some like that Wink

Thanks all for your suggestions, the tea trick has worked really well. Now I just need to find the right font. Who's project did I say it was?

If you want old-fashioned type handwriting, then Vivaldi (or one of the other 'script' fonts) works quite well - if you want it to look as though it's been typed on a typewriter then Courier...

Too late for this one, but as well as tea put a single coffee granule on the paper and tip a drop of hot water on it. Do this randomly over the paper. Also when you tear the edges of the paper, go over them with a brown felt tip.
