I can't for the life of me remember how I found this site [but then I can't remember a lot- I'll look at a child in school and forget the name] Must have been via the other site where some of the people on there are dragons and drag down the name of education.

Once I found you all, I couldn't leave. This site has everything you can think of, full of resources, ideas to share, [would have been lost without beemie's creative mind in displays] really friendly people that I feel I know very well.

So a BIG! thank-you to summertime for leaving that ironing to pile up. [hope it's not still there] and DQ who is a great support alongside everyone else.

I had to do a review of TA sites for the learning support magazine earlier in the year and this is by far the best I've ever seen.

I found this site via 'the other one' (the one that is very stuffy & not nearly as frienldy!).

I'm only a newbie to here & to TA-dom in general - but have learnt so much already from the wise words (& wise people) on here. So well done to all involved in running this site & HAPPY BIRTHDAY TA CHAT

i to came from another unnamed forum site where thing were boring and could get a bit nasty.
dq summer and bemie always used to liven thing up there the grand day out was always a laugh! i remember all to well diving from planes into the crocodile pits below
anyway when i saw the link to this site i joined without hessitation(sp)
and its the best thing i've ever done.
everyone is made so welcome and help is always there when and if you need it. from help with a nvqs ect. to just letting off steam, even celebrating you know there is always someone there to listen and party with.
Summer you have got the best TA forum around without a dout and long may it carry on.

thought I might bump this up so we can all see what we were up to this time last year, and even the year before
