We were looking at yearly reports at college and saw one that I really liked, though most didn't. It was done by Greenwich council.
It was a month to view callender with the usual picture and dates, but on the left or right column they included key information from their annual report. So one month would have something about anti social behaviour, another resident participation.
It just occurs to me that if you do a month to view callender it gives you an opportunity to put messages across. Some of the ideas which come to me:
Class rules
Most months have something of interest - ie black history month
As many of you work in SEN putting a callender together for teachers featuring different sen needs each month highlighting key points - either with the disability or in accomodating the needs.
Poems or written pieces produced by some of the children.
