54. The Book Thief - Markus Zusak - a story based around a young girl living in Germany during WWII, narrated by Death, wonderfully descriptive writing, was recommended to me by our DH who was my last year's CT, wasn't sure from her description of the book to me but definitely glad I read it Very Happy

34) Past Mortem - Ben Elton

I am on a bit of a Ben Elton run at the moment, I always resisted the books even though hubby said they were great but now I have started I love them. They are not as in your face as his stand up style was (although I did like it, I just couldn't see him being able to write decent books)
