What year groups will learn languages in Primary????

Is it just from age 7 so Year 3 -6 or is it form Reception or in year 2 we have 7 year olds do they have to do it????
Anybody know???

As far as I'm aware it's mainly KS2 upwards.

Lower years tend to look at different countries & languages but not particularly learning the language.

That's our school anyway Very Happy

Thank you,getting worried as the year 1 and 2's can just about learn English let alone a foreign language.

Our school does French Y1-6, the children really enjoy it
