Hi. Hoping some people can help me with this one. My placement is at a secondary school but my tutor has recommended I base my answer to this question on Primary school and the Elliot park case study (ICS course)

I'm a bit stuck on Activity 1 about National Strategies. I've identified the National Literacy Strategy and National Numeracy Strategy to write about but am having trouble answering the last part of the activity, specifically....

B. Describe some of the actual effects of the strategies on classroom practice and management.

C. Analyse if the actual effects of the strategy reflect the intended impact and Provide recommendations for future use of the strategies.

Can anyone who has done this assignment or who works in a primary school help to point me in the right direction please?

I have done the Btec level 2.

B) Explain how the strategies have affected timetables, resources, layout of classrooms etc. Both strategies have meant the timetables are structured , all classes do literacy and numeracy at the same time. Layout of classroom is impacted because children work in ability groups. Are there enough resources available??

C) Evaluation, I wrote how the strategies had impacted our classroom practice and looked at strengths and weaknesses.
