I am thinking of applying for the foundation degree, but will have to cut my hours at work to do it.

Am I right in thinking I will be entitled to a student loan to pay for the course fees and some extra, just like a fulltime 18 year old student?

Thanks

I think that you will only be entitled to certain things if you are a full time student. That is dependent on how many modules you take a year, so I was full time for my first year. I recieved a loan and a grant. Check that out to make sure though. Smile

Thanks Susie,
I checked with the Uni today and it looks like it counts as FT, so I should get a loan!
