How do you think these will be best made

3d or 2d?

errmm wood straw and brick?

make the brick one of lots of handmade bricks (cardboard boxes if brickmaker too busy )...get some straw for the straw one stick onto card...and the wood one balsa wood?

if collage then easier...stick it all on a massive piece of display paper

add pigs and one big bad wolf (the HT)

and off ya go!

When we did the three pigs houses, I googled 'brick wall' and printed off pages and pages of them and the pupils cut a house shape out of them then just added a roof, windows and a door. Hey presto a house of bricks.
